Friday the 13th was sooo much fun! I’m so glad we got to see it in a packed theater because it made it that much more fun. The booming laughter, the clapping and cheering probably wouldn’t have happened in a less crowded place. This Jason actually scared me and that hasn’t happened since I was a kid. The old movies scared me when I was young, but as an adult, I was mostly just cheering him on as he bumped off the obnoxious teens and then the films just started being stupid and I stopped caring about them in any capacity. Full quote: “Sorry Dad, this is like a genocide of color. Somewhere a rainbow is weeping.” ~ Shawn Spencer
I just thought I’d toss in a random post in the midst of all of my Chuck-spams, which have been super fun to post. Speaking of Chuck, I really missed him on Gossip Girl last night. I prefer Chuck-filled episodes to Chuck-less episodes. Blair looked really pretty last night though and I typically can’t stand her unless she’s in a scene with Chuck in some capacity.
Who else squealed with delight at the new Twilight teaser trailer? Rob looks and sounds amazing. And he and Kristen look awesome together. I’m so excited about the movie!!!

James Roday is awesomeness personified. His portrayal of Shawn Spencer is the greatest ever.
I’m completely obsessed with the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer and the upcoming film as well.

I just feel cheated out of what it should have been, but I will get over it soon enough. I started the 2nd book, The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes, last night and am enjoying it thus far. Here’s to hoping the author doesn’t throw more curve balls …
USA Network will be airing Christmas episodes of both Monk and Psych this Friday and I must say that I couldn’t be happier. Both shows are so much fun and never cease to put a smile on my face and that is something that I really need right now.

I finally saw 300 the other day and I wasn’t terribly impressed. Aside from the insanely hot male specimens the film had to offer, there wasn’t a whole lot else that I enjoyed because everything looked sooooo CGI. Yes, I knew the whole film was done in CGI, but I didn’t expect the finished product to look entirely fake. The blood looked fake, the dead bodies and flying severed heads and limbs looked totally fake. And was that really Rodrigo Santoro who played Xerxes? If so, they did an excellent job of taking away all that makes him attractive and instead turned him into a totally laughable and non-scary character complete with cheesy-fake-deep-throaty-menacing-voice and …
