I’ve already ranted to Riikka about this, but I’m still ticked off. I’ve gotten some really horrible and super dirty comments at Heather over the past few weeks and had to disable comments because of them and the nasty comments I got back from one visitor after posting a warning about this on the site. If it was my personal site, I would totally call him out publicly and give him a big “f… you” right back, but it’s my fansite and I don’t want to cheapen it by being that catty. The things he said were so rude and disrespectful. Stupid gooberhead! /end rant

Eep! What happened to Belinda’s face? I’m scared.

TV talk…

Chuck was way fun last week. Unfortunately we didn’t have the right kind of 3D glasses, but it didn’t really matter. It was super fun seeing Dom on TV again too. He played a tool rock star again, but he looked to be having fun with it and his character really was a pretty decent guy. Just a bit clueless. I don’t think I ever realized how tiny he was either, though it could just be that Zachary Levi and Adam Baldwin are so big that he looked like a little shrimp next to them.

Supernatural is super rockin’ this season. It’s had a couple of not so super episodes over the seasons, but all in all it is very strong and just gets better and better and better. You can watch the DVDs over and over and it never gets old. Kind of like with Buffy and Angel. The writing and the characters are so great that you just can’t stop watching.

Aidan watched the 1st ep of Dexter with me a couple of days ago and was beyond creeped out. He said it was the scariest thing he’s ever seen. This coming from the kid who’s seen all the Saw, Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street films and all kinds of other B horror films. He said Dexter scared him the most because MCH’s portrayal of Dex seemed so real and like he could be anyone you meet on the street. It may sound odd, but I’m actually glad he was scared by that particular thing about Dex. He’s always been so annoyed with me for wanting to know where he is at all times and who he’s with and what he’s doing (you know how kids are) and I think the little light bulb finally clicked on and he realized that even though it’s just a show, that there are in fact real people like that out there. Not just Dex, but the freaky freaks he takes gets rid of. I don’t want him to be terrified because of having seen the show, but maybe it’ll make him think before bemoaning the fact that I’m checking in on him when he gets home from school and such. On an unrelated Aidan note, I’m so loving rewatching Dex again. It’s so good and MCH is just fantastic.

Burn Notice continues to be nothing less than fun and amazing each week. It’s so fun, witty and pretty. You should check it out if you haven’t yet.

More BSG picspams coming soon!

Finally, my first post of the new year. I hope you all had a fabulous time over the holidays. We kept it pretty low key and overdosed on massive amounts of Lost and Gilmore Girls.

I can see why I stopped watching Lost when S3 was airing because it started off really slow. I really wish I’d have stuck it out though because it did start rockin’ again. And S4 was freaking awesome, especially the episode The Constant. I was all but biting my nails in anticipation of what was going to happen next. The one funny thing about re-watching everything from the beginning again is that characters that I initially loved, I ended up not really caring about at all and characters that I was kind of iffy about I ended up just absolutely loving. Upon a second viewing, my favorites are Hurley (always loved him), Desmond (so many amazing layers), Charlie (who knew?) and Ben (so good at being evil). I always liked Hurley because he was like a giant teddy bear that you just wanted to keep with you at all times. He made me and Aidan both cry quite a few times. When Hurley is sad, he makes everyone sad. *pets him* Desmond + Penny = epic love! Henry Ian Cusick is amazing as Desmond and the connection he and Penny have is, well, epic and the damned writers had better let them be together until the end of time. Charlie had his flaws, but all in all, he had a really good heart and was a good person and I really enjoyed watching his story unfold. As for Ben, I didn’t really care for him or about him, but I did enjoy watching to see what nasty trick he would throw out next. He was so manipulative and deceitful, but ended up being honest and helpful at times too. A very interesting mix. Yay for the new season starting soon!

I’m love, love, loving re-watching Gilmore Girls. It’s such fun and has a huge heart. I want my own Luke. *sigh*

I officially gave up on trying to finish reading Breaking Dawn. I left off about 570-ish pages in and just looked up spoilers for the remainder of the story. I’m not one to do that with books, but I couldn’t take it anymore. It was such a piece of garbage and I can truly say now that I did in fact grow to hate it. I’m glad I didn’t spend anymore time on it either because from the spoilers I found (from where I left off through the end of the story) I most likely would have hurled the stupid book into a wall. The other books might have been full of cheese and LOL moments, but at least they were enjoyable and I actually cared about the characters in them. This one just frustrated me from about page 100 on and that makes me kinda sad. Oh well, I’m done with it now so I really should stop complaining.

Last complaint of the day…I spent all day at home waiting on the cable company to come fix the internet and cable. It took them about 2.5 hours, but all is well again. Apparently one of my neighbors took it upon themselves to take my cable and hook it up to their satellite and that’s what knocked everything out. I don’t know what they were thinking, especially considering cable doesn’t work with satellite. The thing that irks me about these neighbors taking my cable is the fact that we get along really well and they have always been so nice. I would have even let them watch my TV if they needed entertainment. Stupid neighbors!
