The gallery also has a new look by Natalie featuring David Tennant and Kylie Minogue in Doctor Who: Voyage of the Damned. She made it like a year ago and I am just now getting around to using it. I’ve still got a pretty Mad Cowgirl one that I need to use as well. Perhaps I’ll use it next time.

I’ve also added screencaps from the opening credits and episodes 1-3 of Dollhouse to the gallery and will be adding more soon.

Mia Online has also gotten a much deserved facelift thanks to Mycah too. I love it!

I’ve finally bought Butch Walker’s Sycamore Meadows, Sondre Lerche’s Phantom Punch and Lady Gaga’s The Fame recently and am loving them all. Butch and Sondre go great together on a playlist, but not so much with Lady Gaga. I don’t even typically like her kind of music, but it’s so catchy and it’s been motivating me to get my ass moving a little more and that is always a good thing. For instance, yesterday I danced around the house doing laundry and cleaning while her album played and didn’t realize how much I’d gotten done until it was all over. I love getting a little workout without actually working out.

Went on a real date this weekend and had a fun time. We had Indian (yum!) and went to see The Haunting in Connecticut. The food and company were better than the film, but whatever, it was a great night all in all.

I caught up on the last few eps of Smallville and oh my do I ever adore Sam Witwer. He’s just so good as Davis. Really, really good. So tortured and hot. Hahaha. He and Chloe kill me. I know they will never be, but they totally need to get to make out again because they are so pretty together and she grounds him. Oh how I love my ‘ships that can’t have a future.

This song always either makes me cry or brings me to the verge of tears. I’ve seen it bring an entire room full of people to tears including Butch himself. You can see for yourself how emotional he gets when he’s singing it.

Joan
This song makes me a little emotional as well. I blame this on him because he sings it with that raw emotion that he sings Stateline with.

I finally watched The Sarah Connor Chronicles S1 recently and it was really good. Lena Headey bores me greatly, but I will continue to give her a chance. Other actors have grown on me over time, so she might grow on me too.

Aidan and I went to see Changeling last weekend. It was his idea that we go see it, which surprised me because he’s usually more of a cheesy horror movie nut. We both thought it was a really well made and well acted on all parts, especially by Angie and Jason Butler Harner who played Gordon Northcott. I hadn’t realized how skinny Angie was during that time, but she was just skin and bones. It worked in her favor though because it added an extra layer of fragility to her character and all that she went through. Jason was just too creepy for words. (WARNING: The rest of this entry contains some slight spoilers regarding Jason’s character and how some of the scenes were filmed.)He played his character differently in almost every scene (this actually worked really well), but he always had this underlying child-like quality in there too and it just added to the creep factor. How he could take such a disgusting person from real life and play him in so many different ways and manage to bring a slightly human quality to such a monster is beyond me. I do hope that if I see him grace a screen again that it’s in a friendly role even though I know darker roles give an actor more of a chance to really act. Kudos to Clint Eastwood for not showing any real gratuitous violence or nudity or some of the other unspeakable things that happened to those poor little boys in real life. Even though he didn’t focus in on these things on camera, he did show a few scenes like the little boys screaming (the terrified bloodcurdling high pitched child screams that are the most disturbing thing in the world) in the chicken coup while Northcott is chopping (you can’t see what he’s chopping, but you know it’s a kid) with an axe with blood splattering all over his face. These scenes were highly disturbing and gave me chills and had many of the people in the theater were crying. If you are thinking of checking it out, I say go for it. Do your research on the real story though, either before or after you see the film. It’s both a fascinating and horrific story that deserved to be told. I’m just glad that it ended up in the right hands with the right cast and was handled in such a way that didn’t showcase things in a disgusting way.

Alan Cumming
Is he perfectly perfect? No. Does it matter? No. He’s Scottish, he can sing and he can act and he looks fabulous doing every single bit of it. He also just seems like a genuinely cool guy. If you have any doubt of his hotness, you should watch the little sex scene between Alan and Daniela Sea in season 3 of The L Word because dayum!

Bryan Greenberg
I fell for this talented young man back in his days on One Tree Hill. There is some big time talent right here, he just needs to be given a few larger scale projects for the rest of the world to see it.

Butch Walker
Butch is S-E-X. Simple as that. I’ve been lucky enough to meet him twice and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer guy. If you haven’t seen or heard this man’s solo acoustic set then you are missing out on some kick ass, emotionally charged music. Stateline is one of my favorite songs to see performed live (clicky already and watch the vid would ya).

Enrique Murciano
If you’ve ever seen Without a Trace then you know why I started loving this guy. If you’ve ever seen him interviewed, especially by Ellen, then you know why I still love this guy and think he’s super sexy and just plain fun. Not only can he act his ass off and make me cry in the process, he’s also hilarious, plays the ukulele and is supposedly a fab cook.

Eric Mabius
Oh, Eric! I fell for this man 10 years ago while watching Black Circle Boys and have continued to follow his career ever since. He’s a wonderfully talented actor and beautiful to boot. If you are only just discovering him because of Ugly Betty, I highly recommend you go back and watch some of his earlier work.

James McAvoy
James is an absolutely amazing actor. If you aren’t familiar with his work yet, go forth and rent some of his films because you will not be disappointed. Did I mention that he’s Scottish?

James Duval & Sarah Lassez
OK, so this is a two for one entry but they are both just so pretty that I couldn’t help it. I adore them both, but since this is my sexy ‘guy’ list, I’ll be good and talk about Jimmy for a moment. This man really can act. I know you’ve all probably seen him play the nubile young thing in Gregg Araki’s early films or seen him play a doofus in countless things, but that’s not what he’s all about. Watch Mad Cowgirl, The Doe Boy and Donnie Darko to see what he’s truly made of.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Words cannot do justice to how talented Joey is. Watch his films and learn for yourself. You will not be sorry.

Justin Theroux
“Yum” is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Justin, but he’s not just another pretty face and smokin’ body. Oh no. This man can give some of my other faves a run for their money in the acting department. And I hear he’s super cool.

Ryan Gosling
Ryan just has this intensity about him that I love to see in my favorite actors. He’s also super tall and incredibly handsome and all 3 make for a winning combo in my book.

Scott Porter
He’s pretty. He’s talented as hell and can act with only his eyes (this is actually a rarity in Hollywood). He can sing. He can dance. He’s a fanboy at heart. He’s a bona fide geek who loves comic books and actually goes to the comic book shop each week to pick up the new arrivals. He’s also an online gamer and blogs in gamer forums and stuff and I may be in the minority, but I find that insanely sexy.
