James Roday is awesomeness personified. His portrayal of Shawn Spencer is the greatest ever.
I’m completely obsessed with the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer and the upcoming film as well.
I just finished reading The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and really enjoyed it for the most part. I only have 1 major complaint with the book and that was the outcome of a particular relationship near the end. I just feel cheated out of what it should have been, but I will get over it soon enough. I started the 2nd book, The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes, last night and am enjoying it thus far. Here’s to hoping the author doesn’t throw more curve balls at me!
I’ve been bitten by the Gossip Girl bug. It’s not what I’d call a “good” show that everyone and their mother must watch, but it’s incredibly entertaining in a turn your brain off for 45 minutes kind of way. The entire cast is really, really pretty too and that never hurts. Love me some Penn Badgley! He’s just so adorable and I have seen him in other stuff, so it’s not just this show that makes me think he’s adorable. I also have an odd fascination with Chuck or rather Ed Westwick’s portrayal of Chuck. He’s such a creepy slimeball character, but Ed manages to give him a little soul and make him kind of hot at the same time. Ed has the best smarmy facial expressions and his American accent is dead sexy. The one thing I don’t dig about Chuck is his clothing. It’s really awful and a bit too Peeps-colored for my taste. I shall picspam you all later with his hotness and terrible fashion. ![]()
Aidan and I watched Juno three nights in a row a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t really think it would be something he’d enjoy, but he loved/loves it. He also has a bit of a crush on Ellen Page, which I think is pretty awesome. He’s even added some of her other films and TV stuff to our Blockbuster list. I’d much rather him be crushing on her instead of some big haired, big make up wearing, slutty looking teeny bopper girl.
I didn’t realize until just recently how long it had been since I last blogged. It’s been a while since I’ve gone this long without sharing my randomness with everyone. I haven’t even commented on anyone else’s blog either. Sorry about that. It’s not that I don’t love you, I just haven’t really been myself for the past couple of months due to a little bit of depression. I’m starting to come out of it though, which is good because I really dislike pretending to be happy for the sake of those around me. Happy and content is a much better feeling and with Summer right around the corner and watermelons and pineapples to be eaten, all will be much better very soon. You all know how I feel about watermelons and pineapples and those soft juicy little pears that they have only at Whole Foods.
I was bitten by the Twilight bug! heh. I’m totally obsessed right now too! I’m on New Moon atm.
Watched Gossip Girl about a month ago, and I agree. It’s definitely a good enough ‘mind numbing’ show
I still crush on Penn Badgley, I remember him from so many failed WB shows! Ahh.
Rock on for Ellen crushes! That’s really cool, and totally agreed on someone other than the slutty mcsluts I just blogged about LMAO!
Good to have you ‘back’. Blog more missy I love your posts
Yay for the Twilight love!
Yay for the Penn love too! I’m glad he’s finally made it on a show that people actually watch. I actually enjoyed his failed shows myself, but they always seemed to be up against another, better show.
Ooh! Must check out your slut post. Ha!
Thank you. I will definitely try. I’m actually working on a colorful Ed/Chuck post now, so look for that within the next few days.
